Choice Brands of Ohio, LLC (CBO) was established in 1977 when KMC Corporation (owned by the Bellas & Terezis families) purchased the distribution rights to Anheuser-Busch from the former S & G Distributing Company owned by the Schiappa & Falone families.  CBO was originally located on Butte Street in Steubenville, Ohio.  In 1991 it relocated five miles south to its present location, a new, 25,000 square feet CEW warehouse in Mingo Junction, Ohio.  In 2001, approximately 10,000 square feet of warehouse space was added to its facility.  In May 2007, CBO received the distribution rights to Monster Energy Drink for its market territory and in June of that same year acquired the franchise rights to the InBev and Rolling Rock Brands.  In October 2011, CBO acquired the distribution rights for an expanded market territory to Yuengling Brands.

In 1991, the leadership of CBO was transferred to Micahel C. Bellas, the current Chairman.  CBO is jointly owned by KMC Corporation (90%) and NGL, Inc. (10%)  The current management team is led by Michael Bellas, President/GM , Nick G. Latousakis, Sr. Vice President, Robert M. Chapman, and Sales Manager, Steve M. McGlone, who combined have over 100 years in the alcohol beverage business.

The CBO territory rights for AB-InBev and Yuengling are the counties of Harrison, Jefferson, and the southern portion of Columbiana County.  CBO also has the Yuengling territory rights for Carroll County.  CBO is the only distributor that services all three AB-InBev and Yuengling counties on a daily basis, while Carroll County gets serviced 3 days out of every week.  Choice Brands’ dedication to service has helped them grow over many years in business and they continue to grow every day.
